To celebrate Christmas and to thank friends and colleagues for a busy year in 2012, Eventy – Marketing & PR will be giving one of its Twitter followers a free training session on how best to utilise the social networking tool.

Keen to help as many people as possible in the lead up to Christmas, the Cornish marketing consultancy will also be sharing a tip each working day on things to think about on Twitter.

Starting on Monday 3rd December and ending on Friday 21st December, a new Twitter idea or tip will be shared each of the 15 working days through the Twitter account @EventyMarketing using the hash tag #EventyTip.

On the 21st December, the last day Eventy's office is open before Christmas, one of Eventy's Twitter followers will be selected to win a bespoke training session in the New Year.

All followers have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to tweet at @EventyMarketing with why they should win, including #EventyTip in their answer by 12midday on Friday 21st December 2012.

Managing Director of Eventy – Marketing & PR, Helen Mulhern commented:

"We wanted to thank all of our friends and colleagues for such a busy year in 2012. One area of our work that has really increased during 2012 is the amount of Twitter training that we are delivering, as more businesses - especially in Cornwall - join the Twitter ranks to use it as a marketing tool."

Helen continued, "Like any marketing tool, Twitter should be thought about carefully and used strategically to achieve real results, so by giving away tips each working day between now and Christmas, as well as a free training session, we hope to really get people thinking about how best to utilise it".

Eventy – Marketing & PR provides bespoke Twitter training, depending on whether the user has yet to build an account, or is an experienced user.  The team trains in a one-to-one setting or can deliver training to a group.
