A COFFEE shop's efforts to attract more trade by putting tables and chairs outside have been supported by Falmouth Town Council.
Members of the planning committee recommended approval of Hula Coffee Company's application for Killigrew Street.
Cornwall councillor Steve Eva addressed the committee, stating the company should be "given a chance" to be able to attract business, as other venues in the town already did. The committee was told there would still be enough pavement for people to pass.
And highways will inspect regularly and react if any complaints are received about the furniture.
