The Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival is back for another year.
-
Arrgh me hearties. Falmouth's Sea Shanty Festival starteth on the 'morrow.
That's right. Starting tomorrow (the 17th) and running until the 19th. The annual event will sea hundreds of people from all over the world flock to the town. Top names on the shanty circuit (like the Fisherman's Friends) will be singing at the stage on Events Square and at various venues around the town.
It all kicks off at 6:30pm tomorrow with the Opening Ceremony on Custom House Quay. The singing will begin at 7pm on two of the three main stages (Custom House Quay and Events Square) until 10pm. If that's a little too early for ye' then some of Falmouth's pubs will be putting on gigs until the wee hours.
Parking in town will be difficult so, FalmouthPeople's tip is use the Park and Float. It'll take you right into the action and ensure you find a parking spot. Click here for more details.
