Falmouth's drive-in movie season at Swanpool beach is returning for another year.

The now annual drive-in movie season will be taking place on the 12th and 13th August. The first film being shown is the classic Italian Job and this year, the second film is going to be chosen by you.

The 5 choices are family classics:

  • Up
  • The Lion King
  • Toy Story
  • Shrek
  • The Goonies

Tickets for the evening cost £25 per car so if you can fit in loads of people into your car, you pay less.

Event organiser Pete Lochrie said: "Our first Drive In Movie in 2008 was a huge success and last year proved that people love the experience of a true Drive In Movie.  We have the perfect location for staging events like and I am sure this year, with the Italian Job confirmed and a choice of five great films for Saturday night, will be the best year yet."

Swanpool Beach Cafe will be open for food and drink during the evening until the start of the films at around 9.00pm. You can arrive and get your car parking spot from 6.00pm and from 7pm the Swamp Circus will be performing their exciting blend of contemporary circus theatre in the open air by the beach.

What do you think? Which film would you like to watch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
