Falmouth has carved itself quite the niche ad food-lover's paradise. Not content with having some of the best restaurants in the county (click here to see which restaurant you voted the best in town earlier in the year), we're also home to some of the best food shops in the area.

But which is the best? We've whittled down Falmouth's stunning range of food shops to just 6 finalists, and now it's time to vote. In no particular order, the candidates are:

All About Olives – Falmouth's first specialist olive and olive paraphernalia emporium has, according to Cornishview in our business directory, "superb Morrocan Black Olives, with a wide variety of choice." But is it your favourite food shop in town?

Baker Tom – The first of two bakers in our list, Baker Tom's shop stocks all kinds of bread from your run of the mill white to sun-dried tomato focaccia. He also has a few more stores across the county.

Courtyard Deli – Owned by the same people who run the Cavendish, the Courtyard Deli is a great place to stop if you're looking for local produce. Described as "a hidden treasure," rpierce1 says: "the crispy pancetta and scrammbled eggs are delicious!"

Cornish Quality Meats – Cornish Quality Meats have been a firm favourite in the town for quite a few years now and always seem to be busy. With BBQ season coming up if you haven't tried them, you really should. But are they good enough to be the best food shop in town?

Rick Stein's Deli – The new kid on the block and a mecca to Mr Stein, Rick Stein's deli is a great place for tourists, but is it your cup of tea?

Stones Bakery – The second baker on our list and in its short time in the town, the self-described 'artisan bakery' has caused quite a splash. But are they worthy of being the best food shop in town?

UPDATE - Voting has now ended. You can see the results here

So which is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below and we'll announce the results in a few weeks time. Have we missed anywhere? If you think you know a place that should be included on the list, let us know and we'll add it.

The Stone Bakery! As a French native i can say that they make the best baguette as it taste exactly as in my chilhood. It is the first time in 10 years, that i have found such a baker. The Stone Bakery i give you my vote!
If i'm allowed i would like to vote for The Courtyard Deli as they are always ready to source foreign food and are full of advise. Merci Courtyard Deli!

I regularly shop at the Courtyard Deli and All about Olives but shop the most at Cornish Quality Meats - so that gets my vote.
