Mylor Yacht Harbour is launching a new facility to bring together a wide range of expertise and services.

Titled "Marine Team", all of Mylor Yacht Harbour's engineering and boatyard services staff have been united within one single organisation, ensuring work runs smoothly and more efficiently, resulting in better value and aftercare for clients.

Through the new Marine Team, Cornwall's yacht experts will operate from Mylor Yacht Harbour, offering a full service from repairs and maintenance to complete restoration or refit, in a more co-ordinated way to benefit customers.

Henry Goldsmith, Marine Team Project Manager explains:

"Our highly skilled and experienced engineers, electricians, shipwrights, fabricators and painters cover the full spectrum of techniques, materials and boats - from traditional to modern.  Whereas previously this was dispersed across several different departments within Mylor Yacht Harbour, we have now brought these skills together for the first time within one organisation".

Henry continued: "Customers will see many of the same faces, ensuring we offer the same great breadth of expertise and pursuit of excellence – but everything is now brought together for the first time under one 'flag' enabling us to be much more customer focussed."

There are few marinas on the South Coast that can boast Mylor's span of skills and idyllic location, alongside the country's finest sailing waters lapping at its harbour walls.
