Shutterpod.co.uk launches with Halloween photo hunt around Falmouth - free entrance to Maritime Museum!
A Very Special Launch Party
Forget the launch party clichés of cocktails and champagne hob-***bing, Shutterpod promises a public entrance that stays true to its community spirit.
Saturday October 29, in Falmouth, the Shutterpod 'photo-hunt' will begin at 1.30pm. You will have 90 minutes to interpret the clues, take relevant pictures and make it back to the National Maritime Museum! While you have a wander round the museum, your photos will be downloaded and then it's back together for judging – with winners allocated by a 'clapometer' scale.
At a cost of £7.50 for each team (of up to four people), which includes free entry into the museum (ordinarily £9.50 per person!) the photo hunt is a great activity for families, couples, or people looking to find some pre-Halloween fun (fancy dress is welcome!).
Josie Purcell, one of Shutterpod's founders said:
"All you need is a digital camera and a removable memory card, a sense of adventure and a willingness to stretch your imagine to 'solve' our clues. No one needs to be a master photographer – it is all about having a good time."

Shutterpod has been set up by photographers Josie Purcell and Ben Ellis, with an aim of creating a community for photographers; regular meetups, showcasing new talent and breaking down the stereotypes. Seasoned pros or keen start-ups, all are welcome.
