Great for families.

I was dragged along here begrudgingly, expecting to hate it and be entirely bored. In fact we had a fantastic day, we all left miles more knowledgable and with faces plastered with smiles. The museum is split over a few different areas and is equipped with a lift. There are plenty of displays which you are allowed to explore physically, which is great for younger kids, and me. Amazing views over the harbour and a lovely cafe.

    Modern & Informative

This is a really nice little museum, modern and informative and in a beautiful location. It's right on the water of course being a maritime museum and has a nice cafe which has lovely views out into the harbour. The exhibitions change regularly so you can go more than once and theres plenty to interact with too. I'd recommend this whether you were a keen boat enthusiast or not!

Great place to go when its wet.

This is a great place to go when the weather changes, there are millions of things to do when its sunny in Cornwall but wet days can be a pain. The maritime centre is fascinating for young and old and it has a good range of amazing stories, interesting information and fun parts, and of course a gift shop!

    Interesting

The Maritime Museum in Falmouth is actually quite good providing it's not too busy. There's quite a bit to see and do but some of the interactive displays can get quite crowded at peak times which is to be expected but a shame as you don't get to play as much as you'd like! It's still a good place to go for an afternoon out though.

A surprisingly interesting day out. They've got loads of activities too. This is not just one for the more nautical among us, people of all ages will find something good here.
