Gylly Beach Cafe is the perfect place to have a spot of lunch, meet friends for a chat and just to relax. It’s right on the beach and if you sit outside it’s great to just watch the world go by. The whole atmosphere is really laid back and it’s easy to while away an afternoon here. The food has always been delicious when we’ve eaten here too.

Love this place, even it just for the view. Set smack bang in the middle of the beach, with panoramic windows giving a great overview. Lovely decking out back with seating, great when the weather is nice. Plenty to drink, innovative modern menu, or if just peckish try the handmade crisps they sell, the ****** mary flavour are out of this world. They also have live music events which is pretty perfect with the sea in the background.

I love this place, in the summer you'll be lucky to get a seat but it has such a great atmosphere. The food is really tasty and reasonably priced..However sometimes the waiting time is a bit of a joke. Everyone should try and go for grace notes & enjoy a pint there at sunset in the summer!
Sitting outside at the Gylly Beach Cafe with a cold beer or a coffee is a nice way to spend a saturday afternoon...the setting is nice and the cafe clean and modern. The food is good a little pricey but they use local organic produce so i'll let them off! The only complaint i have about this place is the service, staff are always miserable and not attentive at all it does put you off going there a bit.
The place looks nice and it's right on the beach. It is really expensive for what your getting and while most of the time the staff are great, I have had a few bad experiences here. On a really hot day it's a great place to relax and watch the world go by.

They have a buy one main course get a second one free on Thursday nights. makes for a good value evening. They have special menu but with a good choice of courses. As for dessert I just loved the rhubarb and custard panna cotta with the gingerbread biscuit. What a good combination.

The place is OK but it's often very busy and is expensive. If you're on the beach then go there but I wouldn't go out my way to go. The the food is quite good. B+

I have always eaten really well here and the location right on the beach cannot be bettered. At the end of the day it is such a relaxing place to go, have some good food at prices which are OK and stare at the sea. It is also good for a drink on the patio. Service can be a little erratic but you can forgive some things because you are so chilled.

ReportGreat views and convenient for the beach. The food fairly reasonable but watch out-- I had a meal there the other day and they tried to charge me for an extra course that was just 'stars' on the receipt. I would go back though.
