No I didn't. According to a quick google search, he was Irish and died in 1878. Who knew? It seems to be a prime ministerial and presidental thing to name people after Cornish places - First Cameron and now Obama. What's next? Truro Clegg? Camborne Sarkozy? Or my personal favourite, Ventongimps Berlusconi?!
