This week sees a powerful on stage portrayal of the Steinbeck novel "Grapes of Wrath." Brought to stage by the English Touring Theatre, the cast includes some very well known names including Sorcha Cusack (Casualty) and Christopher Timothy (Doctors, All Creatures Great and Small).

There remains some ticket availability during the run from tonight (why not come along to the free post-show talk?) until Saturday. Evening perfortmances start at 7.30pm with Thurs & Sat matinees at 2.30pm.

Also coming soon, a one-night performance by the critically acclaimed Jasmin Vardimon Company (2nd December). A modern dance performance featuring the company's trade-mark athleticism blended with moments of touching beauty. Definitely worth seeing for all fans and students of contemporary dance but also an ideal opportunity for audience members looking to experience something new.

The St petersburg Ballet theatre arrives at HfC on Thursday to perform Giselle (Thurs & Fri evenings) and Swan Lake (Sat matinee and eve). Some tickets are still available but not that many so we'd recommend booking soon to avoid disappointment.

Room on the Broom is proving very popular this week with our younger audience members! One performance remains tomorrow at 10.30am - some tickets available. A great Girls' night Out awaits from the 4th - 6th march as the v Monologues come to HfC with a strong cast including Anne Charleston, Wendi Peters and Amy Nuttall. Some great ticket prices available!

30th March - 3rd April we have Oliver! at hall for cornwall staged by Redruth Amateur Operatic Society. Looking ahead to mid April we are fortunate to have the Donmar warehouse visiting with their production of Serenading Louie. High quality drama with a top-notch cast including Geraldine Sommerville (Cracker, Harry Potter).

Motionhouse are at HfC on the 18th with Scattered - a stunning contemporary dance show that combines music dance and projected images. 8pm Tuesday 18th May Tickets from £12.50 plus theatre fund.

The great touring comedy "Stepping Out" will be at HfC for all of next week. Stars Brian Capron (from Corrie) in a much nicer and light-hearted role then Richard Hillman!
