'Park For Truro' Cornwall’s first permanent park and ride service has celebrated its 1st year by welcoming its 300,000th passenger. So far it has kept 170,000 cars out of the city centre. Have you used it? What do you think?

I haven't used it and I'm not sure I ever will!

Reason being that it's at the wrong end of Truro for me as I drive along the A39 to get to there. It makes more sense if you're coming in from Chiverton Cross but people from the Falmouth area won't be.

I don't fancy driving up past Treliske or to the cattle market just to catch a bus back into town.

Its a very good service and convenient from Falmouth if you cross over through Bissoe or Carnon Downs to Threemilestone from Falmouth. It's clean, convenient and cost effective for up to 2 people.

Hardly ever drive into Truro itself now and with the times adapted for hospital visiting times also I think it will only grow in popularity.

OK, that's a fair point. I wouldn't have thought of driving that way in order to catch a bus.

Therefore I retract my initial statement... perhaps I will use it SOME day!
