Why is it that the building of student accommodation was permitted alongside the Dockyard and yet it is NOT permissible to knock down an old pub and rebuild because of materials stored at the Dockyard.

New buildings along the waterfront, the RNLI station. ??????

Are we living with an authority that has a split personality or just a perverse sense of humour.

After a good nights sleep and considerable thought I believe I have found a solution to this situation.

Place a large tank of river water and silt on the Pub site and place all the SPECIAL Algae from the harbour area in it.......then we can get on with the dredging and encourage all those wealthy passengers on cruise liners to spend more money here.
