Tregenna Guest House will recommend local restaurants and shops to our guests, Premier Inn will encourage them to "eat-in". Tregenna Guest House will spend our income in the local restaurants and shops, Premier Inn's income will be sent to head office in Luton. Tregenna Guest house gives up their time to volunteer with events and festivals in Falmouth, Premier Inn are not the slightest bit interested in events in Falmouth.
I am not trying to blow my own trumpet, just merely pointing out that local B&B's are far more valuable to the local economy than a faceless chain like Premier Inn!

I have to agree with everyone here.
Falmouth doesn't need a "Premier Inn". There's plenty of reasonably priced, good quality accommodation.
It is also strange for the company to have its earlier planning application rejected and then to put the application in again via another company. What's going on?!

Yes, what is going on indeed!! There were over 250 objections to this last time. The council have been elected to represent their constituents views. So how do they not seem to realise that the majority are against it? Apparently, it was the most objections EVER RECORDED on the planning app register.
