I wanted you to be aware that Falmouth Poly have a talk tonight about the TV series 'Africa'. The producer of the series is giving the talk.
My opinion (that I'm sure you will share) is that though intervention in the wild is frowned upon, there should be exceptions if they are filming it or not film it at all (and glorify it, like they did!) out of respect.
You may know of the elephant staying with her calf while he died and the film crew did not intervene and sensationalised it. It was shocking, heartless and cruel. The bookseller in Falmouth are selling tickets, there are still some left. BBC Cornwall radio endorsed it too.
I wish I could go and make myself known but I unfortunately suffer from agoraphobia.
If you can help in any way, spread the word about cruelty to animals in this neglectful way, please do go along.
Thank you ever so much.
