Snow causes travel chaos in Falmouth - UPDATED x2

Falmouth may have been late getting snow this year but the cold weather has been causing chaos in and around the town.

Earlier this morning a tornado was spotted off the coast and roads leading into the town have been closed.

Reports of the high street being like an "ice rink" and the Helston - Falmouth road being a no-go zone.

Falmouth school has been closed and many of the villages around the town have closed their schools as well. 

UPDATE - Trains between Falmouth and Truro have been stopped until further notice

UPDATE 2 - Ships and Castles have also closed their doors
