10 Things To Do near Falmouth's Dock
By ShanUCF | Sunday, May 23, 2010, 18:03
1. Walk upto Pendennis Castle
-
Falmouth Dock; Home of Falmouth Lifeboat
2. Take the Train to Pendennis Castle (Sorry, this is wrong! It would have to be Harry Potter train to make it with no track.)
3. Take the Train out of Cornwall (Boo, hoo!)
4. Skateboard in the Station Carpark But if you do, pick up an instant £200 fine (old people sleeping apparently, especially in the day) The noise of the boards is considered as anti-social behaviour.
5. Watch men working; repairing ships
6. Go Tenpin Bowling at Ocean Bowl or play pool. Costs £4.50 Adults with £3.50 for additional games and children under 14 years. Or Meal Deal £9 dinner and desert or Super meal £13 dinner, desert and drink (prices correct at time of going to press)
7. Pop into the RNLI shop and buy a gift to support the lifeboat
8. Wait to see if the Falmouth lifeboat will launch. Hopefully, on a training exercise not for a real life or death emergency.
9. Watch fish landing. Think this is rare but it is possible at the dock.
10. Say, "Hello Sailor!"

Oops, Nbr 2 is Wrong. The train stops at Falmouth Dock so you can not take it upto the Castle. Sorry, got confused because there is a board that says Falmouth Dock to Pendennis Castle. So what can we have for nbr 2 instead?? Any ideas anyone?
