MY DIRTY TOWN

Itotally agree with the comments about the neglected sorry state of this town

As a Falmothian born and bred I can honestly say that Ihavenever known the town whether it be the main street or one of the residetual

areas look so tatty What has happened to having pride in our town or has that been buried under the sea of litter and under growth thatis now common place wherever you walk

I can remember a time when the streets were kept swept and people kept their gardens tidy and hedges etc. trimed and tidy no discarded cars up on blocks hidden by weeds on the front lawn  If you phoned the council you made a complaint and it was dealt with ( no having to fill this log on or that log in!!!!) Now you have to have a number and give you name and address (+ your grannies shoe size ) before they will do anything  Am I the only one that feels this way or are their others Perhaps it,s the attitude of well its my landlords responsibility
