Well it’s that time again; the MPs are out and about canvassing for your vote. I want to know what you would do to Falmouth if you won the election? Would you change the bus services? Make the parks better? Hold more festivals? Tell us in the comments. Or is there a single issue in the election that is really important to you?

As you may know, the boundaries have changed for this general election and Falmouth is now in a new constituency with Truro. This means that we have a new seat and a whole new group of MPs to chose from. Are there any that you really like? Any that you don’t like? We have quite a broad range now: Lib Dem, Labour, Conservative, Green, UKIP, Veritas and for the first time in a general election Mebyon Kernow. Who would you like to see win and why?

Just as a reminder, here is a list of candidates standing for election in Falmouth and Truro:

UK Independence Party – Harry Blakeley

Veritas - Catherine Cracknell

Labour – Charlotte MacKenzie

Conservative – Sarah Newton

Mebyon Kernow – Loic Rich

Liberal Democrats – Terrye TeversonGreen – Ian Wright

Or are you sick of politics? Do you think none of the parties deserves your vote? Why? What would you do if you were in power?

That may be true but MK are no way near powerful enough to ever get anything done. Surely voting for them would be wasting a vote?

There is only one party that does not have to answer to masters in London, big business or the unions and that is Mebyon Kernow: tinyurl.com/y6m3mw9

There is only one party that will put Cornwall first instead of pleasing the electorate of home counties England.

More reasons to vote MK here: tinyurl.com/y2qqy9u

It's not about if your are Cornish or not, or being born in the Duchy or anything else that excludes.  It's simply a question of if you love Cornwall, its culture, environment and economy.

I would make sure we got better broadband! I'm sick of mine. People in the country need super fast broadband too! It shouldn't be just for people in the cities. I'd vote for anyone that could promise me that!
