The Gruffalo & Other Stars Come To Truro Library In Feb!

To celebrate the reopening of Truro Library after its refurbishment, there will be a range of free events for all ages running from the 15th to the 20th February. Events are listed below, and more information and tickets can be found on the Council's Libraries site.

15th
Swamp Circus Mime and stories for age 8-12 inside the library (9:30am-11:00am) and Have a Go Circus Workshop outside (9:30am-11:00am).

Billy Wiz Magic Show for age 4+. (11:00-12noon)

Renew That Book! with Truro Diversity Artists. Turn a discarded book into a personal memento. (10:00am-4:00pm)
18th
What's So Good About Audio Books? Star actor Gordon Griffin and audio book publisher Simon Cox from W F Howes talk about the making of audio books. (1:00pm-3:00pm)
Simon Hall crime author/BBC journalist, talking about his books 'The TV Detective' and his role as a journalist. Breakout chats throughout the library. (10:00am-12noon)
19th
Bedlam Theatre Company set the scene for crime writers Simon Hall and John Tagholm. Choose a workshop with Simon or John upstairs (11:00am-12noon).
Sleuthing in the afternoon: Detect the Detective, Vile Villains and Library Murder Mystery. Fingerprints for young forensics in the Children's Library. Crime solutions around the sofa at 3:00pm and 4:00pm (From 10:00am).
20th
Bedlam Theatre set the scene. International performer Sally Crabtree with poems and songs all day. Children's workshoops at 10:30am and 12noon. (All Day)
Meet the Gruffalo! (2:00pm-3.30pm)
Bedlam Theatre Company acting and adding to the proceedings. (All Day).
