Share Your New Year's Resolutions Here!

Happy New Year everyone!

As we go into 2010 and begin the next decade (the Teenies? Have we decided on an official title for it yet?) it's time to make those good old resolutions again. And because it's the start of a whole new decade, it seems to be a good idea to get some mid and long term goals set out too - after all, if we don't have goals to aim for it can be mighty hard to get motivated!

Psychologically, it helps to put things in writing to make them seem more tangible and therefore achievable - and if you do this in a public forum (ie on Falmouth People) this is even more true! Plus we can help to motivate and inspire each other.

I for one have never kept a New Year Resolution, largely due to the fact that I have never made one. But this year I have decided to get into the spirit of things, and hope I'm not the only one!

Okay, I'll start - it only seems fair. My resolution for 2010 is to learn how to sew, by hand and with a machine. It's not overly ambitious I know, but it'll do for a start. My resolution for the decade is to buy a house within a stone's throw of one of our gorgeous beaches. I'm not sure which one yet! Slightly more ambitious that one, I'm sure you'll agree!
