Saw the King's Speech here. Great movie but made better by the sofa chairs and by a waitress bringing brought a pot of tea to my chair. Sound and picture were both excellent.

Did you know that many years ago Falmouth had two cinemas? Funny how things go... as we've got two again. The Phoenix is the mainstream alternative to the Poly. The cinema is clean and the prices are reasonable (for cinemas). If you're going to a late night film, try to see it on one of their licensed screens. Not only are the seats (read armchairs) bigger, there's more leg room too. The best bit though: waiter service before the film.
This is how cinemas should be. It's a night out, not just a film. One thing though. If you go quite often, the movie saver card is worth getting. It pays for itself after 4 films.
