The next Four Winds Jazz gig will be on Saturday May 14th and will feature a new band led by Pete Kubryk Townsend (7 string guitar) and Pete Turner (percussion). The band is called Que Belo Castelo and the line up is completed by two new faces on the scene - Sam Norman on double bass and Kate Blackmore on flute. The music will - as you have no doubt guessed by now - have a strong Brazilian influence. The repertoire includes Choros, Sambas, Bossa Novas, original compositions and Jazz Standards with a Latin flavour. Even if the current glorious weather does its usual seasonal vanishing act you will be certain of a singularly summery sensation at the Four Winds!
