Love was in the Air @ St George's AH-cade

Friends of Know Thy Self gathered in the street at noon on 14th Feb, joining a global event to celebrate the 11th World Sound Healing Day. A group sounding of the sacred vowel for the heart chakra: "AH", lasted for approximately five minutes, emitting a 'Sonic Valentine' to the Earth, for love, peace, harmony, and Unity. Passers-by were treated to balloons, chocolates, and flowers (courtesy of a volunteer from the British Heart Foundation shop down the street), as well as the en-masse demonstration of loving intent from the conscious-raising choir! Some people had travelled from Truro - and as far afield as Plymouth to take part, and all were invited to attend a free Sacred Sound workshop at Know Thy Self afterwards, led by local sound therapist, Megan Selby.
