The Grapes has a good range of well-kept local beers, plus wines and spirits. One of its best feature is the view over the harbour from the seats at back of the pub. There's often live music, so worth keeping an eye on the signs outside the pub to see what's going on.

Great proper pub feel, when my friends suggest here as a meeting place I jump at the chance. Nice long bar, not the most appetising of bar menus, maybe eat somewhere else first. Good range of draught and bottled beers at a reasonable price. Nice place to go late afternoon and hog the pool table. Plenty big enough for large groups and with a little jukebox there too you can make your own soundtrack.

A funny old bar, that should be commended for the ever lively weekend evenings. As the other reviewers say, its right in the middle of town, and creates quite a site when the resident dj plays, all glitter balls and flashing coloured disco lights. That said, its generally a good atmosphere, and tyhe pints are pretty cheap.

Right in the middle of town. They often have live music. You can often get a place to sit down and during the day they do good food. Reasonable prices and you get served quickly.

Surprisingly big and often good music. My mates band has played here a few times and the atmosphere is great. There is a pound coin stuck on the floor by the exit and it's great watching drunks desperately try to pick it up.

ReportThere's quite a lots of live music that goes on here so if that's your thing, this is the place. The Guinness is reasonably priced too.
