Good outside space

Usually stop here for a drink while on a night out. It’s a decent enough place with a good outdoor seating area, so good for warm summer evenings. Getting served at the bar always seems to take ages but they’re busy and I suppose that’s a good sign so can’t complain too much.

Nice enough

This place is great when they have live bands on, it gets so busy it almost feels like a nightclub. I like to sit outside the best and as it is covered it is a little sheltered. There is loads of outdoor seating too, so a great big group of you can be quite comfortable out there. It can become a bit tiresome trudging all the way through the crowds to the bar sometimes but you can bring in your own food with you which saves a few pennies if you plan on being here a while.

Bring your own food

When I live in Falmouth, the waternaman's used to be my favourite pub. The drinks are reasonably priced and it has a good atmosphere. Also, they were incredbily accomodating when I was shooting a film for my course (we had a dolly and track running right through the middle of the pub for three hours). And you can bring your own pasties. Excellent

Right on the water, this place has a great deck for sitting out on hot summer days. It's huge inside but a bit dark. For nights out it's OK. You can bring your own food which is kind of nice.

Right on the sea front by the gasworks car park. Sitting on the deck is great on a sunny day. They don't mind you bringing your own food too. The beer is quite cheap and the views across the bay are great.
