me and my husband have drunk in the bar on a few occasions,it was my birthday on saturday and we decided to go there for a meal.all the staff were very atentive and polite,i did not relise they had such an extensive menu,also a large selection of fresh fish and meat dishes on the specials board.ido not normally have dessert but they all sounded so good i could not help my self.the atmostphere was lovely.we regualy eat at olivers in falmouth,but i would say in my opion this was on par if not better,so much to choose from.needless to say keep up the good work and we will be back very soon.

MARINE BAR IS MY FAVOURITE BAR & RESTAURANT IN CORNWALL!
Well firstly, i feel The Marine Bar is such a lovely unique place.. The evenings are my favourite as its so chilled, candles are lit through out the bar & restaurant.
The TROPICAL FISH TANK is a great feature, i happily sit there for hours with a coffee or having a girlie night with my ladies!
They offer such an extensive menu, they're seafood dishes are to die for, this isn't including the massive specials board!
I think the daughter who runs the rest/bar is half Greek, so there is a great Mediterranean base, tapas..
The staff are truly so attentive! The manageress has eyes like a hawk! In a good way :) -
Marine Bar and Restaurant
I had not eaten here for a couple of years but decided to take my daughter and son in law there for lunch on Saturday (12 Feb). Yes - the food as before was excellent BUT the whole place looked decidedly grubby - begining in the foyer, carpet covered in bits of goodness knows what, blocked toilet in the ladies. Inside the restaurant, no fish in the tank now, once again floor VERY dirty, both the carpet and the hard floor area. So bad that I mentioned it to the staff when they asked if "everything was alright" when I paid on the way out. So, good value freshly prepared food, lukewarm coffe, and in need of a good hoovering! Memo to owners - don't have a dark carpet if you aren't going to keep it clean, staff not exactly rushed off their feet either, so could easily have cleaned place up and can't imagine it had go quite so dirty in one morning!

Good Views
The Marine Bar restaurant/bar is situated in the Falmouth Marina so you can enjoy views over the water from the seated balcony areas. It has a spacious bar and restaurant and food varies from pub grub to tapas and fish specials. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of parking. I would recomend for all ocassions.
