A Cornwall based Marketing and PR agency is flourishing, seeing an increase in business and an expansion to its team.

Eventy – Marketing & PR has seen an increase in sales of over 30% during the past 12 months, alongside an increase in productivity of over 40%.

As a result, Rebecca Waterfield from St Austell has been appointed as Marketing Co-ordinator for the Penryn based company.

February 2013 marked the agency's busiest month since relocating to Cornwall from Bath four years ago, where it was founded in 2004, indicating that this trend is set to continue.

Helen Mulhern, Managing Director of Eventy – Marketing & PR, commented: "We have a wide range of clients in Cornwall and are achieving fantastic results for them.  We enjoy working with our longer standing clients, where we have become part of their team, alongside the excitement and challenges that a new client can bring."

Helen continued: "One reason our productivity has grown so substantially is due to the increase in work that we are undertaking for any one client. Starting with a project that needs immediate attention, this often develops into Eventy looking after all of their marketing needs. Happy with our results, clients often recommend us, which has led to an increase in new clients approaching us to help them alongside this".

Rebecca Waterfield, who graduated in Drama and English Literature and is now undertaking a Masters in Creativity and Enterprise, has joined Eventy – Marketing & PR to support this increase in business.

Rebecca commented: "I am thrilled to be working in the role of Marketing Co-ordinator at Eventy – Marketing & PR. Every day I am learning something new and I am eager to carry on building on my strengths and become a part of Eventy's continuing success."

"I am particularly enjoying using my online skills with tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and SEO, alongside utilising my writing experience with features, press releases and E-Newsletters. There is such a broad range of business sectors that Eventy works with, it keeps things really interesting."

Over the last 12 months the company has thrived, acquiring clients which include Scorrier based Etherington's Meat Company, Falmouth based estate agents Heather & Lay, the South West Coast Path Association's Great South West Walk, Visit Bude and the St Ives September Festival.

These new clients join other businesses that Eventy has been providing strategic marketing and services for over a number of years, such as Skinner's Brewery in Truro, Robinson Reed Layton, Polwhele House in Truro and Cornish Gems.

As one of Eventy's earliest clients, Tregenna Castle in St Ives is delighted with the results achieved for them over the years, as Eventy has helped to promote the hotel in Cornwall, as well as its sister hotels – the Draycote Hotel in Warwickshire and Four Seasons Vilamoura in the Algarve.

James Parker, Operations Director at Tregenna, commented: "Since working with Eventy – Marketing & PR we have enjoyed reviews from the likes of the The Times, Daily Star, Coast, Prima, Escape Magazine and Pure Weddings – to mention just a few. Eventy also look after our brand – helping to co-ordinate all of our marketing activities and ensuring that they all work together.  We are delighted with the team at Eventy who are a pleasure to work with."

Helen concluded: "Having worked hard alongside our Senior Account Director – Lisa Cottrell who has been invaluable, to grow the business in Cornwall, it is vital that we have the best possible team in place to look after our client base as it continues to grow.  We have been delighted with the work Rebecca has produced already and we are now looking to recruit another Marketing Executive.  As our client Mark Etherington said about us, 'Bl**dy hell, it's all happening!'"
