With just a few short weeks until the World Cup kicks off, FalmouthPeople wants to know what your doing (or not doing) to celebrate the event.

The obvious answer would be watch it in the Pub. So where in Falmouth will you be able to see the games in full big screen glory? The Grapes, The Prince of Wales, Finn McCoul's and Watermann's will all be showing the games. As will many other places around the town. To find the other pubs showing the games you can check out our business directory here.
England's first three matches are scheduled for:
19:30 on Saturday 12th June vs the USA
19:30 on Friday 18th June vs Algeria
15:00 on Wednesday 23rd vs Slovenia
Those of you hoping to watch England in 3D will be upset however, as while Sony are filming the games in 3D, the Beeb and ITV have the rights in the UK and neither has a 3D channel.
Or are you sick of competition before it's even started? What will you be doing to avoid the games. In a week or so we'll be publishing our guide to avoiding the World Cup in Falmouth. So check back soon.
If you run a pub or bar and are planning a special event, let us know and we'll update the article.

Can you imagine how ridiculous a pub would look - hundreds of drunk and rowdy footie fans, all wearing comically over-sized glasses.
Probably best that we don't have 3D football just yet.

ReportYes. In the US, Europe and Japan the games will be shown in 3D. We already show 3D football in the UK, but only on Sky.
