Now that England’s World Cup hopes have smashed who do you want to see lift the trophy in South Africa?

Who do you want to win?
A prominent Cornish nationalist said before the event started that he’d be backing Australia as they are the “most Cornish side in the event.” They are, however, out of the running.
As it stands at the moment, You have a choice of the Netherlands, Brazil, Chile, Slovakia, Japan, Paraguay, Spain, Portugal, Uruguay and Ghana.
Brazil currently hold the record for most wins with a total of 5. Uruguay have won twice.
Who do you want to see win? Let us know in the comments. Oh yeah, and while you’re at it, click here to vote where you’re going to watch the final.

Anyone but England as , like the rugby , how can Celtic Cornish people support England ? Some do of course as witness the English flags on cars and houses that are now as rare as a sighting of a Lib Dem on TV.

ReportI wouldn't say Spain have been as convincing as expected yet either and I think this is the furthest they've ever been in WC finals. I think they are a great team, but you can't write Brazil off at this stage.

ReportBrazil - No. They'll probably beat Holland on Friday as the Dutch have had their regulatory spat now that Van Persie was unhappy at being substituted against Slovakia.
Brazil have not been tested, their performance against Portugal was pretty much dire. They weren't that convincing against North Korea or Ivory Coast.
I expect them to go out in the semi's against Spain, and it to be a Germany v Spain final - Germany to win.

ReportWhat are the odds on Brazil, they can't be that great, they're quite likely to win IMHO
